I'm Julia, the founder of Your Wedding Agency in Riga, Latvia.

My journey into wedding planning began with a long-held dream. For several years, I worked in the banking sector in client services at SEB bank, managing payments and communication for large international companies such as IKEA, Volvo, and BMW. This experience gave me strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and confidence in handling complex processes — all essential when planning weddings with precision and care.

 

But beyond numbers and corporate clients, I’ve always been drawn to people, emotions, and meaningful moments. I realized I didn’t want to wait any longer to follow my passion — and that’s how my path into wedding planning truly began.

 

My first step into the wedding world started six years ago with wedding stationery design courses, where I learned how to create modern invitations, seating plans, and wedding visuals. During these studies, I was also introduced to the wedding industry from behind the scenes — how planners and couples work together, how ideas are shaped, and how meaningful celebrations are created.

That moment confirmed what I had already felt: this is exactly where I belong.

 

 

Since then, I have gained hands-on experience working as a wedding coordinator in the Latvian wedding agency “Kāzu feja”, and completed professional wedding coordination training. To further strengthen my expertise, I also completed a wedding planning course with the Crystal Wedding agency in Moscow.
